Gandia is very well connected, right on the coast of Valencia. Getting there is easy by commuter train, by motorway or from Valencia and Alicante airports. Here are all the options and approximate travel times.
By train from Valencia
The most convenient and affordable option. The Renfe C-1 commuter line links Valencia Nord and Gandia in about 1 hour, with frequent departures throughout the day. Gandia is the end of the line, so there's no need to worry about your stop. The station is just 5 minutes' walk from the apartment.
By car
- From Valencia: ~65 km via the AP-7 or N-332, about 50 minutes.
- From Alicante: ~110 km via the AP-7, just over 1 hour.
- From Madrid: ~360 km via the A-3 and AP-7, about 3 h 30 min.
- From Barcelona: ~415 km via the AP-7, about 4 hours.

From the airport
The Valencia airport (VLC) is the closest, about 75 km (1 hour by car). From there you can rent a car or reach central Valencia and take the commuter train to Gandia. The Alicante-Elche airport (ALC) is about 110 km away, a good option for many international flights.
From the centre to the beach
Once in Gandia, the beach is about 4 km from the historic centre. You can take the La Marina bus (stop less than 5 minutes from the apartment), drive in 10 minutes or cycle along the bike path. More details in our beach guide.
