Gandia beach is one of the most highly rated on the Spanish Mediterranean: over three kilometres of fine golden sand, shallow waters and a lively promenade. How to get to Gandia beach
The beach (el Grau and the Gandia Platja area) is about 4 km from the historic centre. You have several options:
- By bus: the La Marina line connects the centre and the beach. The stop is less than 5 minutes' walk from the apartment. Around a 15–20 minute ride.
- By car: about 10 minutes. See parking options both in the centre and at the beach.
- By bike: a flat cycle path links the centre with el Grau. Great for families.
Beach areas: which to choose
North area (Playa Nord)
The widest and most family-friendly. Extensive sand, a very gentle slope and all services: sunbeds, showers, lifeguards, play areas and accessible entrances. Perfect with children.
The promenade
Behind the sand, the promenade is lined with ice-cream parlours, terraces, rice restaurants and cocktail bars. Quiet and family-friendly by day; it comes alive at night in summer.
Beach bars and where to eat

Parking at the beach
